PAASCU SHARES VPA INITIATIVES

PAASCU was invited to share its virtual program accreditation (VPA) experiences with the Center for Education Accreditation of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.  The seminar was held last November 16, 2021, with the theme “Education Accreditation: Results, Impact on University Autonomy and Adaptation to the Context of the Covid-19 Pandemic”.  More than 80 participants attended the virtual seminar led by education and Quality Assurance officers from Vietnam.

Mr. Ricardo Palo, PAASCU’s Executive Director, shared the process of virtual accreditation from the preparation to the actual remote visit.  He also shared the guidelines on VPA, which was approved by the Board of Trustees last February 2021, and the evaluation results by school officials and accreditors who participated in virtual accreditation visits for August to October.
