QS World University Rankings 2023

The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2023 was released on June 8, 2022, and
identified the best 1,400 universities worldwide. Six indicators were used in assessing the universities:
academic reputation (40%), employer reputation (10%), faculty/student ratio (20%), citations per faculty
(20%), international faculty ratio (5%), and international student ratio (5%).
Four universities from the country were included: the University of the Philippines, which is 412 th in
rank; Ateneo de Manila University belonging to the 651-700 group; and De La Salle University and the
University of Santo Tomas, in the 801-1000 group.
PAASCU would like to congratulate these institutions, which have programs accredited by the
Association.
