INQAAHE Conference 2023

The Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA) served as the host organization for the 17th biennial conference of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE), which was held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from May 29 to June 1, 2023. The conference’s theme was “Roadmap to Enabling Quality in Tertiary Education 2030.”

The forum focuses on how quality assurance may help with the execution of UNESCO’s “Roadmap to 2030 Beyond Limits: New Ways to Reinvent Higher Education” and how to take advantage of the opportunities and difficulties related to Sustainable Development Goal 4. The three-day event served as an avenue for QA agencies to interact and share viewpoints regarding the critical role of quality assurance in advancing the search for innovative, flexible, and inclusive solutions to the issues and opportunities brought about by the global agenda for broader tertiary education access.

Ms. Jane Martinez-Bayotlang, Account Officer of the Commission on Tertiary Education, represented PAASCU at the conference.
